First Youth Service.

Can somebody shout out Amen?
Our first ever youth meeting entitled GENESIS was launched and everything was perfect thanks to The Almighty! All praise goes out to Him! But then there's also the line of committees that made this happen. Okay, let me juat briefly give you the list of committees for our youth meetings. Here's a big fat thank you to all the board of committees and members.
First on,
Billy - Head of everything.
Hannah - Worship leader.
Games - Aaron and Nicholas.
Follow-up - Tobey and Amy.
Multimedia - Jas Min.
So, keep that in mind okay. I won't be repeating this again. Hee. So, yes. We kicked start with awesome worship. Then Billy shared a lil' bit about Christian youths and how we are different from other young people out there. And after that, Hannah and Tobey shared about their experiences and some sort. They've been really interesting and inspirational. Okay, and moving on we had games at the groundfloor. And kudos to Aaron the games were really fun and funny at the same time. The duckie-snatching game and ass-whacking. Haha. Aaron seriously did a good job without Nicholas, last-minute. And after that we had a banana feast, turned into a game, which was as fun as the previous game. And then, we had snacks and nice cooling Chrysanthemum after much perspiring. And in a split second, everything was over. *sniffs* Time flies when you're enjoying it to the fullest. Ohwell, it was an awesome event and I think we all did well for our first youth meeting. So yeah, those who missed out, your pasal. And yeah, to those who came, I hoped you enjoyed it. Heee.

(WHY NOT!) This time is exclamation mark + capital letter.. Haha we BFC Youth got the style one ok.. With the likes of Gabriel, Samson, Jaclyn, Brian, Samuel, BILLY!, Han nah, Jas Min , 4T's and others.. They ROCK this event! They are none other than the faces of BFC..

3.00 - 3.30 = Red CarpetHow grand is this! We welcome our V.I.P kao kao thanks to someone which is charismatic and hot like Jaclyn(head ushers) Our usher team totally 'SEMANGAT' Vry important u knw.. Jaclyn really has this BIG role in the first step of ROCKING the event..
3.30-4.00 = IntroductionWe intro ourself with a video from Jas Min.. It is one COOL video.. She spent a lot of time doing it you know! Grace to God man! Oops! Miss the A.. (Amen..) Toefl and Billy are co - emcee on that day.. Two dudes which are 'outgrown' youths? Claimed to be? Maybe.. We started off with ping pong balls thrown to the youths.. All they nid to do is to catch it and make an animal sound based on the clues written on their balls.. Thats how the group is divided..
4.00 - 6.30 = Funtetainment (Games!!)One of the KEY to this event.. The youths will going to enjoy themselves this 3 hours! The first game was Bouncin Balls (Ping Pong Piang) .. Second game is Why Not? Grab and Answer I .. Nicholas conducted this game.. Asking all those weird and lame questions.. Third game proved to be spectacular.. CSI : Your Turn.. She spent nights thinking of this! And this game totally works and gone well.. Everyone is excited u know.. The murder victim is Nicholas, found dead after conducting his quiz.. Suspects are Tobey , Toefl and Gideon(cute??) ... Tobey is the murderer..
Somehow, the dead victim is back! And he continues his Why Not? Grab and Answer II.. After asking those questions,
6.30 - 7.30 = Dinner
it is time tooo... MAKAN! Must be tiring to the youths after so long.. They makan puas-puas u knw until the plate also gone (exaggerating)
7.30 - 8.00 = Warm - UpOr shall i say... Ice breaking?? It is a maze game, the chairs arranged by the ushers until it looks like a maze.. You know.. Every team must choose one person to be blindfolded and stuck in the maze while the others try to get their own team members out.. The noise totally distract other groups and make this game interesting! Oh ya! Forgot something! Prize giving ceremony... The best screamer goes to LESTER HIEW! The most sporting one goes to Mr. Sporting!! The most fashionable goes to Bryan Lim!
8.00 - 9.00 = Praise and Worship
Lead by Toefl, the guitarist.. Pastor John the bassist, Hannah the pianist, Gabriel the drummer, Tobey and Amy showed everyone their beautiful talented voices! SING IT OUT! SHOUT IT OUT! We sang 'This is How We Overcome' , 'One Way Jesus' and many more.. The youths are jumping and screaming like mad! We never see this happen before in this church..
(WHY NOT!) 9.00 - 10.00 = Guest speakerWho is our guest speaker? Who? Who? Who? Pastor Geoffrey Lee!! WOOHHOOO thunderous claps to him... The most important V.I.P. of the day.. He preached to us about his past, his testimonies.. One word is enough to describe this whole thing.. And everybody say.. AWESOME!

Yesterday was a blast. Alright, before I go on talking about the event, I'd like to thank a few people here. I thank the committee members for their hardwork and sacrifices.The men ( only applicable for Billy ) /boys and girls behind all activities, for their effort and constant support throughout the entire event. Their contributions. Their time. Personally, I think I've not slept well the entire week, and I think it's the same for the other members who share the same worries too. Haha. But it all turned out so well, didn't it? I'd like to thank our pastor too, Pastor John. Did anyone noticed he was the bassist? He sure rocked right?
Let's give Pastor John a round of applause.

Right, thank you for supporting our youth ministry and thank you for making this actually happenned! You know, this event was totally an idea from pastor himself. Heh. Then uhm, I'd like to thank our guest speaker too, Pastor Geoffrey Yee for coming down all the way from Penang just to share with us. Pastor Geoffrey's sermon was awesome right?

I also like to thank all BFC Youth Members for helping out on the day. For their prayers upon the success of this event. For their time to stay back and clean up after the event is over. And dadidum, the list goes on. We are one strong group of youths, aren't we?

I'd love to see you guys again. If you miss us, come again for our English and Chinese services on Sunday okay? And do stay back for our Cell Group Meetings after services yeah? I know you miss us right? No?

Without Him, this event would not have been a success. Even if it was the ultimate, perfect event, it would have meant nothing without God. For all the struggles we had, all the sacrifices we've made, all the time we had spent, all the efforts that've been made, it all goes out to God! Amen! Ah right, so much for the thankyouness. =)
Personal thoughts:
You know, throughout the event I made new friends too. I totally love both my meows Mae Sze and Nicole. They were both so cute. Haha. And Hong Yip was funny and friendly. Bryan was shy but polite. Hahaha. And uhm I think there were a few Batu Unjurians which I've forgotten their names. Sorry, pardon me. It was fun getting to know each other, interacting, and their responds were really encouraging. Like seeing them scream and laugh, having a great time. Haha. So uhm, thanks again people. And do come by and visit us again okay? I'll miss you guys. (:

3F (Fund For Food)
Hannah is one rock girl! Yes! She is our fund raising girl for our Youth event.. Hey, next time when there is a money problem or something to do with fund raising or sponsorship, she is a GOOD girl to ask for HELP.. Hallelujah!
Guess how much we collected? RM 783!!!
Simply amazing! Thank God for that.. One of us is going to represent the Youth on next Sunday service to testify this out! You see? There is STILL so many good hearted, generous and blessed people in this world!
WE believe in this concept:
Give and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give unto your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete, withal it shall be measured to you again." Luke 6:38
This is a message from Hannah, the graceful girl.. As the Head of Fund Raising, she just wanna thank especially:
Billy - For being so generous not only in his giving but also in his advice. I mean kept on bugging him with stupid questions like "Will the food be enough?" or " What if we can't raise enough money?" etc etc. You know how I can be when I start loh-ying. Lol. Thanks Bill! Where's the bill?
Jas Min- For what ah? * scratches head * Lol. Oh oh, for getting her mom to contribute some of the food. And also for tahaning her hunger and serving others instead. Thanks for helping to count the money too. Eh, most important job okay! Hee. Kidding only lah. Everyone's job was important too =)
Lester- For coming there to help out even though I did't ask you to. You were definitely a very good example of the male species. Hee. Guys like you are really going extinct.Go Silicon!
Amy- For the Super Duper Awesome Out-Of-The-World Jelly. Its sooo yummy okay. I want some more!!! The salad was really delicious too. Thanks for washing up and clearing up after that yeah.
Tobey- For getting the sushi and for helping out to serve. Oh and thanks for staying back and clearing up all the stuffs too. You were such a sweetheart.Lol.
Jaclyn, Samson, Gabriel, Looi Yoong,Tobias, Vincent, Samuel, Nicholas, Leonard and Gideon- For selling the drinks and getting some of the food. You guys rock!

Ever wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat
our cell phone?
What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?
What if we flipped through it several time a day?
What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?
What if we used it to receive messages from the text?
What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?
What if we gave it to Kids as gifts?
What if we used it when we traveled?
What if we used it in case of emergency?
This is something to make you go....hmm...where is my Bible?
Oh, and one more thing.
Unlike our cell phone, we don't have to worry about our Bible being
disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill.
Makes you stop and think 'where are my priorities? And no dropped calls!
